Jeptha Troy 'Jeff' Thomas

Jeptha Troy "Jeff" Thomas, 52, of Rockville, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

Jeff was born on March 27, 1962 in Greenfield, and was a 1980 graduate of Greenfield High School.

He was a truck driver for more than 30 years, and had worked at Indiana Youth Center in Plainfield and at the Putnamville Correctional Facility.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Everett Garriott.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Lesa D. Thomas; children Jennifer Collier, Melissa Overby and Brandy Turner; his mother, Carolyn J. Garriott; a half-brother, Travis Garriott and wife Linda; and 10 grandchildren.

Private arrangements and care have been entrusted to Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
