Gail Patricia Hurst

Gail Patricia Hurst, 75, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014.

She was born on March 3, 1939 in Cincinnati to William and Corinne Gregolet.

Gail was a graduate of 1957 graduate of Withrow High School in Cincinnati, and graduated from Westminster Choir College at Rider University in Princeton, N.J., in 1961.

She served as a choral director and librarian.

Gail was an award-winning member of the Greencastle Knitter's Table.

Her husband, David C. Hurst, preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are her children, Laura Hurst of Austin, Texas, Jonathan Hurst of Chicago, and Craig Hurst of Greencastle; and her sister, Marilou Ross of Cincinnati.

In accordance with Gail's wishes, no memorial service is planned at this time.

Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
