Paul W. Stewart

Paul W. Stewart, 81, longtime Northbrook, Ill., resident, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014.

Paul was born Jan. 1, 1933 in Greencastle to Byron and Jean Leinberger Stewart.

Paul graduated from Greencastle High School in 1951.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for Illinois Bell/ AT&T in Chicago for 37 years.

He was the beloved husband of 56 years of Marjorie; loving father of Jeffrey (Linda) and Laura (Bryant) Waites; proud grandfather of Jenna, Emily, Melissa and Kyle; dear brother of Thomas (Judith) Stewart; and fond uncle of Andrew and Matthew Stewart.

Services will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 19 at N.H. Scott and Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Rd., Glencoe, IL, 60022 or a charity of your choice.
