The Rochesters

On Saturday, Sept. 5, the Rochester Family will be the featured entertainment at a fundraiser for Alpha Omega Christian Academy, a ministry of Putnamville Baptist Church.

A dinner of pulled pork and sloppy joes will be served at 6 p.m. for $5 per person or $20 per family. Dinner tickets are being sold in advance by students of Alpha Omega and members of Putnamville Baptist or can be purchased by phone or at the door.

One half of the price of each ticket sold by a student will be applied to that student's academy tuition. All funds not credited to tuition will be used in support of Alpha Omega programs. Dinner ticket orders may be placed at 653-5426.

The Rochester Family concert will begin at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

On Sunday, Sept. 7, the Rochesters will also sing at Putnamville Baptist services scheduled at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., and Rochester son-in-law Scott Matthews will preach the 10:30 service.

Putnamville Baptist Church is located one mile west of U.S. 231 at 637 E. U.S. 40.

The Rochesters will continue their visit in Putnam County with singing performances for Seedline International's 18th Annual Harvest Conference, Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 7-10, at 7 p.m. each evening. Seedline is located on County Road 250 East, about 3/4-mile south of U.S. 40.

Alpha Omega Christian Academy serves students in kindergarten through 12th grades and meets at Putnamville Baptist. Registration and curriculum information is available at 653-5426.
