Surronded by Walmart associates and family members (above) Saturday afternoon, cancer patient Yvonne Dwigans receives a $1,715 check from Transportation Manager Todd Stoltey at a Walmart Heart Event Saturday at the Greencastle Walmart Transportation Center. Joining Dwigans are her sons Zayne and Braden and daughter Ashton, along her dad, Scott Stierwalt, a Walmart Heart driver "who has given countless hours to other families in need," Stoltey said. In addition to the big check, Dwigans also received additional funds for a total of $2,200 from the proceeds of a motorcycle ride, bake sales and silent auctions. Meanwhile, after the presentation, Putnam County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Tom Helmer helps Zayne, 7, and Braden, 11, into his patrol car for a ride around town as part of the festivities honoring the 35-year-old mother of four.
