The Greencastle League of Women Voters, WGRE radio and the Banner-Graphic are co-sponsoring a Candidate Forum for the Putnam County community on Wednesday, Oct. 29, beginning at 7 p.m. at Watson Forum in the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media on the DePauw University campus.

The forum will be broadcast live on WGRE radio and again later on Greencastle's local cable access Channel 3.

Candidates running uncontested races for Putnam County sheriff, Scott Stockton; prosecuting attorney, Tim Bookwalter; District 2 county commissioner, Rick Woodall; and District 3 county councilman, Darrel Thomas all will be given five minutes to address the forum. They are all Republicans.

John Dale, the Democrat candidate running against incumbent Todd Rokita for the U.S. House of Representatives, in the Nov. 4 election, will also participate in the forum.

Audience members will be allowed to ask questions of the candidates at the conclusion of the forum.

Refreshments will be served.
