Sharon L. Jarrett, 80, of Fillmore, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at her residence.

Born Aug. 5, 1934 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of George and Floy Helen (Smith) Miller.

She was a 1952 graduate of Fillmore High School.

She married Theodore W. Jarrett on July 26, 1952, and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2010.

Sharon worked as a cook for the Mill Creek Inn, after retiring from the Lear Corp. in 1996.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa L. (Donald) Reitzel, Darla K. (Donald) Neville, Brenda (Billy) Nauman and Linda Jarrett; sisters Kay Jarrett and Mary (Harold) Franks; a brother, Larry (Maria) Miller; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Dale and William Miller; a sister, Joyce Kershaw; and a nephew, Greg Jarrett.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 at the funeral home.
