Vallera (Buckles) Clubb

Vallera (Buckles) Clubb, 70, of St. Louis, formerly of Greencastle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 with her loving family by her side.

She was born July 7, 1944 in Collinsville, Ill., and was a 1962 graduate of Greencastle High School. She was the daughter of Charles and Margaret Buckles.

Vallera retired from General American Insurance and Busch Stadium.

She enjoyed retirement, Las Vegas, bingo and ballgames. Vallera mostly cherished her time with her grandchildren and especially her newly born first great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Bradley Clubb.

Survivors include daughter Amy Jo Hayes (Jimmy) of St. Louis and Julie Hathaway (Dennis) of Kouts; brothers Charles E. Buckles (Nancy) of Bloomington, William P. Buckles (Suzy) of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Alice King (Charles) of Leeton, Mo., and Charlene Custis (Fayne) of Greencastle; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

There will be a private memorial service in St. Louis.
