Earl Andrew 'Andy' Richardson

Earl Andrew "Andy" Richardson, 82, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015.

Andy was born on March 6, 1932 in Greencastle to Jess Richardson and Irene Gleeson Richardson.

He had been employed at NAPA and was the bus mechanic at the Greencastle School Bus Barn.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Rebecca Richardson; a brother, John Richardson; two sisters, Margie Wilson and Clara Wilbur; and a granddaughter, Lucille Beatrice "Lucy Bea" Richardson.

Surviving are his children, Lee Richardson and wife Barb, Jarry Richardson and wife Vicki, Shelly Markham, Matt Richardson and Josh Richardson and wife Samantha; two brothers, Dennis Richardson and wife Iris, and Floyd Richardson and wife Donna; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Megan, Kaylee, Isaiah, Isabel, Lily, Patrick, Sarah and Amy; and six great-grandchildren, Brodie, Jackson, Adie, Mason, Anderson, and Cora.

A memorial service will celebrate Andy's life on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Randy McNeely officiating, where the family will receive friends from noon until time of services.
