Dr. Suess birthday party set Monday afternoon at PCPL

A Dr. Seuss birthday party is scheduled for Monday, March 2 at the Putnam County Public Library.

The free 4-5:30 p.m. event is co-sponsored by the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department and the library.

The celebration at the library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle, will include reading, crafts, games, snacks and more with fun for all ages. Cake and ice cream will be served.

Monday, March 2 marks what would have been the 111th birthday for Dr. Seuss, whose real name was Theodor Geisel.
