Friday, July 31, 2015

Putnam County Comprehensive Services is hosting the Miss Unstoppable Pageant Saturday at 6 p.m. in the DePauw University's Thompson Hall.

Admission is free to the public.

The Miss Unstoppable pageant is for individuals with disabilities. Nine female contestants with escorts will walk across the stage to be judged on poise and appearance, talent and answering a question.

One queen will be crowned, with the remaining individuals named princesses.

The event hopes to bring awareness to the community about individuals with disabilities, and stress they can do anything anybody else can do.

The pageant welcomes people from the community because PCCS wants to bring awareness to inclusion of all abilities.
