A physical JV football game ending in a 26-0 Greencastle victory over Cloverdale left a player injured on each side. Greencastle sophomore Luke Taylor was transported by Stat Flight Helicopter to Riley Hospital following a first-quarter injury.
"(Taylor) was lifelined to Riley for a possible spinal injury," GHS athletic trainer Andrew Hollinger said. "It was mainly precautionary measures that they wanted to life line him instead of taking him by ambulance. "
Shortly after, Cloverdale freshman Logan Abner severely injured his arm and was transported by ambulance to Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.
