Joy Lee Stewart

Joy Lee Stewart, 76, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016.

She was born on June 12, 1939 in Plainfield to Jess Morphew and Ione Kendall Morphew.

Joy had been employed for more than 30 years at P.R. Mallory, and had been employed at Putnam County Hospital in the kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ronald Morphew and Max Morphew.

Surviving are her husband, David D. Stewart, whom she married on Oct. 22, 1960; a brother-in-law, Robert Stewart; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Garland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Interment will follow at Stilesville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
