Patricia A. VanPatten

Patricia A. VanPatten, 79, of Fillmore, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 in the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Feb. 14, 1937 in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of Elmer Orndorff and Elsie (Braithwaite) Orndorff.

Survivors include a son, Robert J. VanPatten Jr. and wife Laurie, McDonough, Ga.; a daughter, Christina Hewitt and husband Rick, Fillmore; five grandchildren, Tucker, Tyler and Katie Hewitt, Natalie and Gabrielle VanPatten; a sister, Peggy Speak, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Patricia was always a hard worker, doing customer service for several businesses and retiring from Walmart.

She loved cooking, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 4-7 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. in the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville.
