At the Shelter

Here are the latest stray animals currently held at the Putnam County Animal Care and Control Shelter, 4700 E. State Road 240, Greencastle.

-- Dog: Adult male, black and white mixed breed, found in Greencastle. Found with an adult white female, American Eskimo.

-- Dog: Adult female, black, retriever mix, found near CVS in Greencastle.

-- Cat: Adult male, brown tabby short-haired, found in Greencastle.

These animals were not wearing identification and were not microchipped.

To claim an animal, you must present proof of ownership.

Public hours at the shelter are 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
