Vera B. Marshall

Vera B. Marshall, 97, of Greencastle, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Vera was born Sept. 9, 1918 in Clermont, Ind., to the late Frank and Carrie Beswick,

She married Tony Marshall and worked for Dow Chemical.

Vera was a deeply faithful woman who loved playing bingo. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed good health until her final days.

Vera is survived by a large and loving family which include her grandchildren, Debbie Lynn (Tom) Lehman, Frieda (John) Crowe, Tony (Jean) Bowles, Phillip (Debbie) Bowles, Angela (Brian) Letourneau and Renita (George) Scott; 52 great-grandchildren, 65 great-great-grandchildren, nine great-great-great-grandchildren and niece Carolyn (Larry) Compton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony, and devoted daughter, Sharon (Frank) Bowles.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, where friends are invited to gather from 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Paragon.
