The Bowling Trucking dump truck then veered into the median, rolled over and slid into the westbound lanes.

The truck was loaded with approximately 20,000 pounds of gravel.

Following the crash, both westbound lanes o f U.S. 40 were blocked.

Hansen sustained minor injuries in the crash, but refused treatment at the scene.

He was subsequently taken to Hendricks Regional Health by his employer and spent Wednesday night there.

A family member reported that Hansen got home on Thursday.

  • This is my ex husband, he was hurt, his boss took him to Hendricks in Danville...our kids are there with him now...nothing life threatening but he is there to be checked out thoroughly... for those who believe in the power of prayer a prayer would be grateful at this time to make sure nothing seriously does develop from the trauma of the accident

My apologies for the inaccuracy. I spoke with your brother and apparently I misunderstood. I'm glad your dad is doing better.
